RiseVT is a community initiative to embrace healthy lifestyles. RiseVT motivates, inspires and works with individuals and families to help them make small changes in their lives that will have a big impact on their health. In addition, RiseVT works with schools, businesses, municipalities to wrap around our community to create an environment where the healthy choice is the easy choice. RiseVT began in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties of Vermont and has since expanded to a Statewide office with a presence in nearly every region of the state.
RiseVT has empowered residents to make healthier choices, encouraging exercise and eating better to reduce chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease. RiseVT is outcome-focused, evidenced-based, and it’s working. That’s because Vermonters are involved in their own health. It’s tailored to meet each community’s prevention needs.
